Obama: Support the Arms Trade Treaty

Irresponsible arms transfers fuel conflict, poverty and human rights abuses. It's time to ask US President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to support an effective Arms Trade Treaty now.

In 2006, Control Arms campaign supporters like you helped to get the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) on the UN agenda. Since then, the US has voted against it twice.

With President Obama in the White House, there is the potential for a new approach to American foreign policy. He has already said he supports a nuclear free world and an inter-American treaty on firearms trafficking.
