Breaking - French Aid Worker Kidnapped in Kabul

Published November 03, 2008 @ 08:35AM PT

Gunmen attacked two French aid workers in Kabul (Karte Parwan) this morning, kidnapping one. The second aid worker escaped.  There are varying reports as to whether the two aid workers were walking or driving when the attack occurred.

An Afghan who tried to intervene was shot and killed.

So far this year, 31 aid workers have been killed in Afghanistan, including Gayle Williams, who was killed in Kabul two weeks ago.
