Museum of Tolerance to be Built on Muslim Graveyard

Published November 04, 2008 @ 11:28AM PT

Gershon Baskin of IPCRI responds in the Jerusalem Post to the latest episode in a years long struggle to construct a new museum in the heart of Jerusalem.

As a Jew, as an Israeli and as a Jerusalemite I am embarrassed by the impudence to even think about building the Museum of Tolerance on that site. I can only imagine (and hope) that the "knight of justice" Shimon Wiesenthal must be turning in his grave if he could realize what has developed.

Isn't this insane?  I'm contemplating a campaign on this issue.... Stay tuned, and read the rest of the article here. My choice of photo is based on the prediction that rioting will, eventually, emerge as a response to this desecration of Muslim corpses in the center of Jerusalem.

Oh, and - good luck Gershon in you upcoming primary election for Israel's brand spanking new Green Movement.
